What Stays With Me marks the opening of Pauline Adams’ gallery in Delray Beach and brings together paintings drawn from the places, encounters, and fleeting moments that continue to inhabit her work.
Moving between the shores of South Florida and Greece, intimate human presence, animals, landscape, and sea, the exhibition reflects Adams’ ongoing interest in what remains after a moment has passed—not as memory in the literal sense, but as atmosphere, sensation, and presence.
Across the paintings, figures emerge and recede, landscapes dissolve into color, and ordinary encounters take on an unexpected emotional weight. Rather than describing a moment completely, Adams leaves space for ambiguity—for the viewer to bring something of their own to what they see.
What Stays With Me is both an exhibition and an introduction to the world of Pauline Adams: a world shaped by atmosphere, psychological tension, and the quiet moments when the world asks nothing of us except to notice it.

Pauline Adams presented selected works in States of Perception, an international group exhibition at Kunst Depot Venezia Gallery in Venice.
The exhibition’s theme found a natural connection with Adams’ work, where perception is rarely fixed. Figures, shorelines, and atmospheric spaces shift between clarity and dissolution, inviting the viewer to look beyond the immediately visible and complete the experience for themselves.
Through layered color, softened edges, and expanses of light and air, the paintings explore the space between what is seen and what is felt—leaving meaning deliberately open.

Presences brought together the work of Pauline Adams and Anastasia Ntonti in a joint painting exhibition at Kefalos Theatre in Argostoli, Kefalonia.
For the exhibition, Adams presented a new body of paintings created in and inspired by Kefalonia. The works emerge from encounters across the island—figures glimpsed along the shore, animals, paths, trees, and stretches of sea—and explore the fleeting moments, shifting light, and atmosphere that transform an ordinary scene into something that stayed with us.
