Presences brings together the work of Pauline Adams and Anastasia Ntonti in a joint painting exhibition at Kefalos Theatre in Argostoli, Kefalonia.
For the exhibition, Adams presents a new body of paintings created in and inspired by Kefalonia. The works emerge from encounters across the island—figures glimpsed along the shore, animals, paths, trees, and stretches of sea—and explore the fleeting moments, shifting light, and atmosphere that transform an ordinary scene into something that stays with us.

Pauline Adams presents selected works in States of Perception, an international group exhibition at Kunst Depot Venezia Gallery in Venice.
The exhibition’s theme finds a natural connection with Adams’ work, where perception is rarely fixed. Figures, shorelines, and atmospheric spaces shift between clarity and dissolution, inviting the viewer to look beyond the immediately visible and complete the experience for themselves.
Through layered color, softened edges, and expanses of light and air, the paintings explore the space between what is seen and what is felt—leaving meaning deliberately open.
